    • Abstract:
      The author discusses hospital credentialing process which includes making recommendations regarding category of medical staff membership and clinical privileges based upon the information received. This process is controlled by the Constitution Act, which mandates that medical licensure is a matter of provincial jurisdiction. To standardize the requirements for medical licensure the Federation of Medical Regulatory Authorities of Canada (FMRAC) provides recent legislation.
