    • Abstract:
The article discusses the relationship between Martin Heidegger's philosophy and discrimination and asks what bridges the gap between his philosophy and discriminatory ideology and how it was possible for him to see an affinity between his philosophy and a discriminatory ideology like the Nazi ideology. It reviews his notion of historicity and how he developed it through the 1930s. It indicates that for him, contemporary Germans had a unique origin which had to be preserved and reappropriated.
