    • Abstract:
      To solve safety problems of construction machine on working in construction work site, safety technologies have been developed as the last barrier. Active safety technologies need to acquire data to identify danger, so information technology plays an important role. In this paper, definition of Active safety technology is illustrated and some current active safety examples are shown. The key information technologies used in active safety technologies are analyzed, such as Real-time sensor, data processing and visualization. To solve the function fail of the safety control system coming from the electrical, electronic, and programmable systems (E/E/PS), the function safety design is taken in account and the process and PL calculation are introduced. Finally, the important formation technology in active safety control is illustrated by a case.
